Services Deep Tissue Massage: Also known as routine massage and is done on 8 week or less intervals. Deep Tissue takes generally 1-2 hours to perform and is done at least 24 hours prior to a show or event. Pre-Event Soft Tissue Massage: The warming of the muscles and relieving any surface or soft tissue tension. This takes generally 30 minutes-1 hour to perform. Soft Tissue is done at many shows as a fine tune up for the horse. Post-Event Soft Tissue Massage: Similar to a Pre-Event Soft Tissue Massage used to warm the muscles, Post Event Soft Tissue Massage is done to flush out lactic acid and help prevent muscular tension from forming after the horse finishes showing. Stretching: Done with all massages. Like human stretching, it will increase flexibility and range of motion.     © 2011 Eric Grover - Equine Sports Massage Therapy Website Constructed by Naptronix LLC
